Bottles, washing. - A washing-machine for single bottles comprises a high speed internal brush which cleans the inside ofa bottle and rotates it against a nest of external brushes held in a frame. The source of power may be a steam turbine 1 or an electric motor driving an internal brush 3 so as to rotate a bottle against contoured detachably fixed upper and lower brushes 7, 8, &c. and rotary side brushes 10, Fig. 2. The brushes are covered by a spring pressed detachable cover 13. Specification 291,620, [Class 19, Brushing &c.], is referred to.
