Abstract

323,000. Firestone Tyre & Rubber Co. (1922), Ltd., (Firestone Tire & Rubber Co.). Aug. 17, 1928. Drawings to Specification. Vulcanizing processes.-A beaded tyre, with air-bag, is inserted between a pair of mould sections without the use of bead or bull rings or of means for clamping the sections together. The moulds are then delivered individually to a press prior to stacking and curing in the usual heater press. The mould sections have integral bead moulding portions and interengaging dowels and sockets.
