Abstract
322,783. Wells, E. G. Sept. 8, 1928. Folding brackets, - A projecting bracket-like fitting, such as an arm rest or table 21, is attached to a chair frame member 27 by a strut 25 pivoted at 24 to the outer end of the arm rest &c. and, at 26, to the chair frame member 27 which carries a stud 29 engaging a slot 28 in the arm rest &c. In order to prevent accidental collapse of the rest &c., the stud 29 has a head to engage a tapered surface 41 attached to the arm rest &c. Specifications 7232/09, 184,223, [both in Class 52 (ii), Furniture for sitting &c. upon], and 193,409 are referred to.
