Abstract

Supports for articles to be heated.-A kettle or like stand in which a spirit burner is placed is provided with a shroud d carried by the walls, and extending in front of, and spaced from, the air apertures c to protect them from direct air currents. In the construction shown, the upper edge of the shroud is held in a bead e at the top of the stand, and the kettle is supported on cross strips g. In a modification, a semi or completely cylindrical shroud is supported by arms projecting from the wall of the stand. A part cylindrical curtain may be adjustably mounted so that it may be moved to the windward side.
