Abstract

293,218. Allan, J. E., and Leeds Brass Finishing Co., Ltd. Aug. 13, 1927. Stands.-In tailors' display stands for supporting flat boards carrying cloth in the piece, an inclined board-supporting member 2 mounted on a base affords a panel or border effect to the cloth. The base comprises angular side brackets 1 connected together at the rear by a bar 3. The member 2 is in the form of a rectangular frame which may be telescopic. The top bar 6 of the frame may have a rounded upper edge, or be a round rod, and may be located below the top of the side edges which may be recessed just above the bar 6 to accomodate the cloth without creasing. Spring clips &c. 4 on a cross-bar 5 grip the free ends of the cloth.
