Abstract

320,888. Sarjeant, F. C., and Sarjeant, F. C., (trading as Sarjeant & Co., E.). and Morris Motors, Ltd. July 20, 1928. Sliding seats; adjustments.-In a sliding seat of the kind running on a rail having an enlarged head and a reduced fastening portion, the reduced portion is diverted laterally to form a ledge with which ledge a retaining member, carried by the seat, is adapted adjustably to engage. Such a construction is shown in the drawings, the member a, attached to the seat S engaging the rail R, a portion d of which is bent laterally, and is provided with perforations e to be engaged by the end h of a rotatable rod g. The rod g may be cranked at j for engagement with a leaf spring k.
