Abstract

Cleaning, fluid-pressure processes for.- The nozzle tube 14 of a steam boiler cleaner is mounted in a sleeve which is rotated to bring steam ports 15, 16 in alignment; a lostmotion device, comprising a pin 26 on the tube 14 which co-operates with a slot in the sleeve, causes further rotation of the sleeve to rotate the tube 14. The steam is admitted from an annular passage 17 and packing rings 18 are provided. The sleeve is rotated from a chain wheel 21 through gearing 20, 23.
