Abstract
319,864. Pilot, I. H. July 21, 1928. Fixed sieves; reciprocating sieves.-In a coke &c. crushing machine the crushed material falls on to a sieve 5, Fig. 1, comprising bars 14 pivoted at their upper ends on a transverse rod 16 and resting at intermediate points in slots in transverse bars 18 so that individual rods may be raised in cleaning the sieve. The sieve may be rocked transversely through the engagement of a peg 27, Fig. 5, on the sieve and a grooved cam 26 on a rotary shaft 28. Specification 319,865, [Class 59, Grinding, crushing, &c.], is referred to.
