Equipments for carrying purposes. - An equipment 1, more particularly for carrying machine guns on the person, is narrowed at 2, and an iron strip 3 fastened thereto by welding. The strip 3 has a strap 4 rive,ted to it for encircling the breech casing of the gun. A transverse stay 5 is also provided with a strap 6 for the neck of the butt of the gun. The breach lever 7 of the gun is supported on a transverse stay 8 of the equipment. A knapsack, shown in Fig. 2, may be used in conjunction with the equipment. The knapsack is of ordinary type except for an outwardly open cover 9 worn between the knapsack and the machine gun.
