318,584. Upson Co., (Assignees of Upson, C. A.). Sept. 6, 1928, [Convention date]. Discharging and feeding devices for endless-belt conveyers; driving-gear; roller-way conveyers.-In a drying oven for sheets of wallboard, &c., the sheets D pass from an upper rollerway conveyer down an inclined rollerway conveyer 21 on to a group of high speed rollers 26 on an inclined rollerway conveyer 25 which reverses their direction of movement and propels them towards a lower roller-way conveyer. Rollers 34 disposed above the lowest rollers of the conveyer 21 direct the front end of each sheet on to idler rollers 32 at the top of the conveyer 25. Belts may be used instead of roller-way conveyers. Specification 333,161, [Class 87 (ii), Moulding plastic &c. substances], is referred to.
