Lamp signals.-A number of travelling bands arranged alongside one another are provided with means for the attachment thereto of panels or lamps whereby a picture can be built up. The attachment means shown in Fig. 1 comprise reinforced key-hole slots engageable by the shank of a panel as depicted in Fig. 3. Fig. 5 shows a panel having pins which are inserted into the band. Fig. 7 represents the attachment of a lamp bv screwing into a band, the band forming one lead of the circuit and a conductor behind the band the return lead. The bands may be of linen, metal, wire gauze, &c. and the panels may be of metal, glass, porcelain, wood, &c. coloured, bronzed, enamelled, embossed, ground, or covered with cloth, silk, or velvet, or be self-luminous as by being made in imitation of jewels on polished mountings. The colour and position of the illuminating means may be varied. Reference indicia may be placed on the panels and the bands to assist in building up a representation.
