Tyre attachments to rims.-A bead "wire" comprises a single or stranded wire core wound with one or more layers of wire in parallel or other formation. Fig. 2 shows one form comprising a stranded core a with a single-layer wrapping b. Fig. 7 shows a modification comprising a single-wire core c with two oppositely-wound wrappings d, e. In all cases, the core is free to move within the wrapping which is in firm adhesion with the material of the tyre.
