Abstract
315,832. B÷hme Akt.-Ges., H. T. July 19, 1928, [Convention date]. Emulsions making.-Esters, particularly low carbon number alkyl or aryl esters, of sulphonated fatty or cyclo paraffinic carboxylic acids such as those contained in natural, glyceride or cholestride fats, are produced by first esterifying the carboxylic acid and then treating the product with a sulphonating agent. The final products are stated to include compounds formed by the esterification of the sulpho group and of both the sulpho and carboxyl groups as well as the original esters. The products are employable as emulsifying agents.
