Abstract

Lamps forming a line of light; holders.-A channel or moulding has the outer edges of its flexible sides beaded or grooved, and is adapted to hold a lamp or holder in any longitudinal position by engagement with corresponding beaded or grooved edges on the lamp or holder. In one example, a sheetmetal channel a, Fig. 1, has beaded edges a<2>, a<3> and is adapted to receive a sheet-metal holder, Fig. 2, which has a trough c' for housing the leads d', and beaded edges c<1>, c<2>. The channel is formed with a narrow longitudinal portion, such as a base a<7> or an inclined portion a<5> of the side a<5>, by means of which it can be secured by screws b' to a frame b, Fig. 4, of a showcase.
