Abstract

Holders.-A socket 17 to to receive a lamp bulb is mounted in a body 10 of insulating material which is secured, as by screws 12, to a supporting-cap 14 and is provided along its periphery with screw-threads 19 or other projections to carry an upwardly-projecting rose or canopy fittings 21, Fig. 6, and a shade 22, or with projections 23, Fig. 7, to support a shade and permit it to be adjusted along the holder. The screwthreads may be formed on a metal sheath 25, Fig. 8, covering the insulating body.
