Abstract

314,426. Andersson. A. L. June 27, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Dishes, glasses, and the like, washing.-A tub 1 in which dishes, glasses, and like articles are to be washed, is provided with overflow pipes 4, 5, communicating, respectively, with receptacles 2, 3 containing cleaning liquids, the receptacles having connections, through a reversing valve 8, with the suction side of a pump 9 adapted to discharge into the tub 1. The contents of each tank may thus be separately circulated through the tube 1 and returned to the tank by the corresponding overflow pipe. The pipes 4, 5 are removable or otherwise formed to permit of draining the tube 1. A plug 11 may be provided for closing either of the pipes 4, 5. Means may be provided for heating the tanks 2, 3. In a modification one tank system may be used with one or more pumps for simultaneous or alternate washing in two tubs.
