Abstract
314,378. Scott, H. D. June 26, 1928, [Convention date]. Packing sheet metal. - Tin plate and like sheet metal is enclosed in fibre board, cardboard, &c. to form a package as shown in Fig. 5. A stack of plates is placed on a blank 2, Fig. 2, the edges of which are folded up about the broken lines, and a larger blank 1, shown partially folded in Fig. 4, is applied to cover the stack and the upturned edges, of the blank 2, the parts 3, 4, hinged to the parts 9, being covered by the flaps 8. Angle irons 5 are placed on the corners of the package and the whole issecured by metal ties 6.
