Capsules and like closures; stoppers serving secondary purposes.-A cover 9 for jugs, jars, &c. 8 comprises a sheet of thin metal or metal foil suitably shaped so that when placed over the mouth of a receptacle the free edge can be pressed into contact with the exterior of the vessel. The cover is readily removable and replaceable and is perforated in the centre with lettering or advertising matter. An impression of the shape of the mouth of the receptacle may be provided on the cover.
