Pressure gauges with damping-arrangements.- To damp vibrations in the readings of instruments used with compressors, &c. a casing A is interposed in the path of the gas to the gauge and is provided with a set or sets of adjacent elastic metallic discs a<1>-a<6> tightly clamped along their periphery and provided with orifices which are out of alignment in successive discs. The admission f and outlet g open into recesses B and C while the discs are divided into two groups by a rigid partition c provided with a central aperture d. This permits the discs on each side of the partition to bend only in the direction of the recess B or C on that side.
