Abstract
311,848. Hopkins, W. Feb. 24, 1928. Moulds.-Comprises an arrangement of mould covers adapted to be clamped against the open ends of a trough-shaped mould for concrete road kerbs, &c. As shown, a pair of covers a, faced with jointing material a<1>, are furnished with end brackets b adapted to receive tension rods c which pass over adjustable pedestals h and are adjustable by nuts c<1>. The pedestals h are furnished with set screws i having grooved heads to receive the rods c and adjustable by nuts to impose the desired intermediate pressure. The covers are drawn together about the moulds by selflocking clamping-links d, adjustable by eye-bolts e and drawn into clamping position by a lever.
