Abstract

282,265. Niven, F. S. April 19, 1927. Spigot-and-socket joints held by cement; jointing-apparatus.-The jointing of the ends of two pipes 8, 9 is facilitated by a longitudinally slit mould 1 of vulcanized rubber &c. provided with clamping means 2, such as bolts 5 and winged nuts, and one or more orifices 3 through which jointing material is adapted to be flowed. The mould may be reinforced by canvas.
