Abstract

311,518. Kingsley, E. D. April 4, 1928. Curtains, suspending.-A curtain runner consists of a pair of grooved rollers 1 and a U-shaped wire loop 4, the ends 5 of which are formed as eyes to loosely embrace the grooves in the rollers. In the constructionshown, each roller consists of a portion 1 acting as the roller proper, a neck 2 and an outer portion 3 of less diameter than the portion 1 and rounded off as shown. The lower part 6 of the loop 4 which carries the usual ring 7, may be flattened. The rail 8, of drawn bar, is slidably supported in brackets 9, formed by cutting off sections of a drawn or machined bar, the bracket being formed with a slot to receive the upper part of the rail.
