Abstract

270,382. French, G. F., French, R., and Pinch, W. H. Feb. 4, 1926. Curtains, suspending.-A curtain runner for I &c. rails consists of a sheet metal U-shaped glider a with downturned ends a<1> engaging the rail, provided with a swing. ing loop c carrying a ring &c. d to which the curtain is attached. The loop c is attached to the glider a at points above the level of the rail. The ring d is preferably 8-shaped with two upper eyes, which may be spaced apart to receive a receiving cord, engaging the loop c. The ends a<1> may be bent L- shaped and the wearing parts may be faced with anti-friction material. The members a may be made of fibre, vulcanite, hard leather &c. to reduce friction and noise.
