Abstract

Rollers and roller heads.-In drawing- mechanism comprising a pair of endless belts two guide rods 8, 9 for the front loops of the belts are connected so as to form a single U-shaped piece, and are provided with a bent portion 15 to prevent lateral displacement in a recess 13 in the supporting-frame and with a handle 18, which, in some circumstances, may be extended so as to provide a horizontal part to facilitate handling. Separate pieces with rods at different distances apart are provided for the regulation of the belts according to the material being treated, and they may be painted or enamelled in distinctive colours according to the distance between the rods which normally is too small to be distinguished visually. The supporting-frame comprises lateral plates braced by transverse members 10, 11, the latter member serving also as a guide for the roving.
