Abstract

510,252. Moulding dough by rolling-machines. WARMOLTS, C. A. J. ROERING-.Jan. 29, 1938, No. 2876. Convention date, Feb. 8, 1937. [Class 87 (ii)] A scroll is formed from a sheet of dough on a conveyer by a member running in the opposite. direction above the conveyer and at a higher speed and means are provided for removing the scroll from the path of the dough sheet. The upper member comprises two chains 4 passing over adjustable sprocket wheels 3, 5 and connected by transverse bars 9. The lower run of the chains is driven in the opposite direction to the conveyer 1 and preferably at twice the speed. The bar chain is enclosed by a cover made in two parts 10,11 which are adjustable. The chains are supported by a sprocket 7 which forms a recess into which a dough sheet is fed by the conveyer 1. The higher speed of the chains causes the dough to coil up and travel back to the point 12 where it is guided by the member 11 over the top of the chains 4 and is returned to the conveyer 1 at the point 13.
