Vacuum tubes; low-pressure metallic-vapour apparatus.-In means for securing an electrode and its conductor according to the parent Specification, the metal parts in the vacuum which influence the electric field about the insulator are brought into correct position relatively to the insulator by a separate mounting device and are then welded or soldered. The insulator mav consist of a glass tube fused to two metal tubes.
