Abstract

Globes.-A lamp comprises a hollow translucent one-piece unit 1 having only flat sides, one of which is used for introducing and supporting an electric lamp bulb 2. The flat sides enable the lamp to stand alone on a flat surface or to be associated with like lamps in a substantially contiguous pack. The unit 1 may be of square, rectangular, hexagonal, or triangular cross-section, and may be made of glass, porcelain, celluloid, or other lightpermeable material. The unit 1 or bulb 2 may be coloured. Reflectors may be provided at one or more sides of the unit.
