[Class 75'(ii)] A light-shrouding cap or shell a adapted to be placed over an electric-light bulb f is provided internally with a pair of arc-shaped resilient clips c arranged in a plane transverse to the axis of the bulb and supported by arms b depending from the upper edge of the shell in such a position that when pressed over the bulb beyond the widest position, the shell is pressed up against a shade or the like mounted on the lamp holder. The shell is preferably of translucent or transparent light reducing material and is provided at its lower end with a closing lid or cover.
