Expanding tables.-A draw-leaf table is fitted with a drawer which is mounted under and moves with the draw-leaf, and is accessible when the table is closed or extended. Fig. 3 shows a table with two draw-leaves 27 on runners or guides 24 moving in slots 22 in the end bars or valances 9, 11; secured to the underside of a leaf is a pair of runners 30, Fig. 6, each with an inwardlyprojecting rib 31 on which moves a drawer 33, Fig. 5, with grooves 32 in its sides. When the draw-leaf is pushed in the drawer front 38 is flush with the part 11; the draw-leaves pass under a centre section (not shown) and abut on a frame 15. A drawer may be similarly fitted under each leaf.
