307,824. Rheinische Metallwaarenund Maschinenfabrik S÷mmerda Akt.-Ges. March 14, 1928, [Convention date]. Addition to 305,203. Types.-In the apparatus described in the parent Specification for forming bends in typelevers and aligning type-blocks thereon, a frame adapted to be clamped on the head of each type-lever is provided with means for adjusting the type-block. The frame c shown in the Figure is clamped by means of a wedge g on the head of the type-lever a and is provided with screws f<1>, f<2> and a slide d operated by a micrometer screw e for adjusting the type-block b vertically and horizontally. A locking-pin h co-operating with the wedge engages a spring- urged lever h<1>. The frame is formed with an opening c<1> permitting the passage of a beam of light for projecting an image of the type-block on a screen.
