Abstract

307,501. Lemoine, (nÚe Trouillet), R. M. L. March 10, 1928, [Convention date]. Lift valves: actuating- mechanism. -The discharge valve 7, Fig. 1, of a container for compressed or liquefied gas is connected with lost motion to the stem of a second valvelike member 16 held against the neck of the vessel by a lever 21 capable of being locked in position by a coacting lever 26. Release of the lever 26 allows the internal pressure to force along the larger member 16 which in its motion jerks the valve 7 open. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) Fig. 3 (Cancelled) shows the outlet closed by concentric valves 35, 40, 43 which are successively opened bv a screwed head 51 rotated by the pull of a cord. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
