307,498. Patiag Patentverwertungs-und Industrie Akt.-Ges. March 9, 1928, [Convention date]. Movable-abutment type; packing drums, vanes, abutments, and the like; driving pumps.-A rotary compressor or the like comprises two camshaped pistons 5, 9, without recesses, which are rotated together by gear wheels 14, 15 constituting a gear pump for delivering liquid to a nozzle 18 to supply sealing liquid adjacent the contact line of the pistons. The pistons have a small clearance with each other and with the lateral walls of the casing. The gear pump also feeds a chamber 20 whence liquid passes through bores 22, 23 in the piston shafts and transverse bores 22<a>, 23<a> to seal the lateral faces of the pistons 5, 9. A separator returns the liquid from the discharge side of the compressor to the gear pump. The compressor is driven from a shaft 10 through gears 11, 12, the latter being fixed on the shaft of the piston 9.
