Abstract

306,595. Currie, B. M. Nov. 25, 1927. Bibs.-A bib has a front portion 1 and rear portion 2 joined by shoulder pieces 3, 4, the part 4 being slit and provided with a flap 5 threaded through parallel slits 6 in the front portion so as to adjust the opening and neatly to encircle the neck. In a modification, Fig. 3, the edges of the aperture may be pleated. This is particularly suitable where the bib is of crepe paper. Paper bibs made with a side flap similar to 5, Fig. 1, may have the flap secured by adhesive. The aperture may be made resilient by use of an elastic band, Fig. 6, where the neck is unslit.
