Abstract

571,098. Knicker garments. THORPE & CO. (NOTTINGHAM), Ltd., J., and FARMER, W. Nov. 26, 1943, No. 10737. [Class 141] A knicker garment formed from a single subsubstantially rectangular blank A having a triangular portion C to form the crotch piece, disposed in a gap B in the lower edge of the blank, as described in Specification 307,652, [Class 141], is provided with a reinforcing piece E which is secured over the triangular portion and which preferably has an extension D secured up the centre of the back of the garment and tongues F, G secured along the sides of the opening B, i.e. at the leg seams in the finished garment. The blanks A and reinforcing pieces may be cut out in pairs from a length of fabric folded along the line HJ, Fig. 6, the parts being cut out along the dotted lines.
