Electric appliances.-Apparatus for applying a constant current for medical purposes comprises a block or blocks of dry cells of Leclanche type provided with plug-in tapping sockets, together with a plug electrically connected to one electrode, such plug remaining unmoved during application of the current, and a pair of wander-plugs, electrically connected to the second electrode, the alternate advance or retiring of which increases or diminishes the current passing through the patient.
