Syringes.-The cap 6 of a syringe is formed to engage with a screw thread 5, formed either on the cylinder 4, or on a separate annular member. A conical member 8 supports a guide tube 7 and is itself held firmly against the cap 6 by flanges formed on each end of the guide tube. In a modification the conical member and the guide tube are formed in one piece, which is held against the cap by flanging over the free end of the tube.
