Abstract

306,208. Stanley, A. B. S. Nov. 28, 1927. Air-douches; pneumatic appliances.-A massage appliance attachable to the flexible hose of a suction-producing machine comprising a motor-driven fan e.g. a vacuum cleaner, comprises a tapered rubber or other tubular fitting 2 having at one end a rounded shoulder 7 and an annular flange 6 and at the other end ah annular head 8 over or within which the flexible hose engages. In a modification, for massaging the head and scalp the flange 6 is extended and flattened and supports a number of rubber or like projections or studs. The machine may be provided with means permitting the connection of the flexible hose with the suction side of the fan, thus allowing the nozzle to be used in hair drying.
