When not in use the cable is wound around the hook and carrying handle 11. The hook which may be vulcanized to the handle 12 or attached by a metal member 18, has an open cylindrical groove 20 to receive the cable, the diameter of the groove being smaller than that of the cable. To admit the cable into the groove the hook is bent forwardly to stretch the edge 19 and widen the groove.
