Abstract

305,999. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. Feb. 13, 1928, [Convention date]. Heating by electricity.-The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes the use of an electric arc, struck in the flame of an autogenous welding burner, for heating metals and alloys. The arc may be produced by either direct or alternating current and carbon or graphite electrodes may be used if no additional metal is to be supplied. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
