Abstract
303,865. Bruns, P. Jan. 11, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Clips, band. - In a clip for supporting a pipe &c., which may be spaced from said pipe by depressions &c. thereon, the parts of the clip which contact with the pipe are provided with a roughened surface ob,- tained by cutting with a roughened file, rough galvanization, &c. The two halves of the clip are formed with a slot and hook connection b, c, while the fixing pin is located above the pipe clip at a dis. tance from the pipe so that overflow of water to the pin is precluded. In a modification, the two parts of the clip are connected by levers g, i provided with hooks p, o respectively which engage holes in the clip, the hooks being drawn together to close the clip by an arm m integral with the lever i. The invention is also applicable to a pipe holder in the form of a simple hook.
