Abstract

302,824. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., Morton, C. J., and Woodfield, T. H. Jan. 26, 1928. Driving-arrangements. - A gear-wheel 6, particularly applicable for driving a lighting-generator from the magneto-shaft on motor cycles, is resiliently connected to its driving shaft 1 by a rubber &c. cushion 7 interposed between the apertured web 5 of the wheel and a star-shaped member 4 secured to the shaft, the wheel being supported by and freely revoluble between lateral discs 2, 3 engaging recesses in the faces of the wheel and mounted on the shaft 1. A locked nut 8 holds the parts in place.
