Abstract
300,611. Imperial Chemical Industries, Ltd., (Assignees of Ellsworth, H. E.). Nov. 16, 1927, [Convention date]. Explosives. - Gunpowder or like explosive in granular form is moistened with a solution of nitrocellulose or other cellulose derivative which deposits a coating on the grains, but leaves the grains separate, the coating retarding the rate of combustion of the powder and rendering it specially useful for safety fuzes. Specifications 17506/87 and 20104/89, [both in Class 9 (i), Ammunition &c.], are referred to.
