588,243. Explosives. MOODIE, G. F. A. PIGOT-. Dec. 20, 1943, No. 21340. [Class 9 (ii)] A liquid or semi-liquid explosive adapted to be injected into the firing chamber of a rifle or gun comprises nitroglycerine, as the main ingredient, finely-divided cellulose in suspension in mineral oil, potassium chlorate and carbon. The potassium chlorate may be dissolved in water. The carbon may be suspended in mineral oil. Acetone may be added to render the cellulose slightly gelatinous. Manganese dioxide may be present. Bentonite may be added to occlude liquid.
