Abstract
300,471. Colville &. Sons, Ltd., D., and MacBride, R. W. May 9, 1928. Rail joints for girders, beams, &c. are made by a pair of fishplates 3, 4 each plate having perpendicular lugs 3<a>, 4<a> passing through the web of the girders 1, 2 and the other plate, the plates being secured together to complete the joint. The fish-bolts 5 preferably pass through the openings in contact with a lug.
