Abstract

298,710. Caldwell, B. July 26, 1927. Saws.-A tool for cutting grooves in plaster &c. surfaces comprises a holder bar 6 with handle 6<a> at one or both ends and parallel saw blades 5 secured to the bar by bolts 8 and spacing washers 9. The forward ends of the blades are preferably tapered to a point 5<c> enabling the tool to be used close up to a ceiling or adjacent wall and for cutting rectangular or circular recesses to receive sunk switches. Tools for setting-out work. -The Provisional Specification includes another construction of the tool consisting of two rotatable disc cutters mounted on a handle by means of a bolt and spaced apart by washers.
