Relief effects in kinematograph images, producing; optical-projection apparatus. - In apparatus for projecting two images in approximate superposition on the screen from one, film image, for the production of a relief effect, and comprising, in the projection beam, a transparent reflector which reflects part of the light to a second reflector by which it is reflected to the screen, the reflectors are capable of adjustment in any direction. The reflector may be carried by a frame 1 fitting a port hole in the projection chamber, the frame being provided with lugs 4, 5 carrying a rod 6. An arm 7 is clamped to the rod 6 so as to be adjustable angularly and lengthwise, and slidably carries an eye-bolt 10 to which is adjustably secured a flat bar 11 formed in two parts hinged at 25. Pins 15, 16 on the bar 11 carry a frame 17 in which frames carrying a transparent mirror 18, and a totally reflecting mirror 19, are angularly adjustable. Means for adjusting the frame of the mirror 19 to and from the mirror 18, and an adjustable three point support for the mirror 19, are described. The rod 6 may be carried by a stand adjustable on the floor instead of by the frame 1.
