Abstract
297,725. Kreidl, I. Sept. 26, 1927, [Convention date]. Enamels.-Enamels are clouded by the production in the mass. of finely distributed bubbles of gas evolved during the firing of the enamel from inorganic substances or compounds which are added to the batch in the enamel mill. The substance may be adapted to liberate gases during the firing of the enamel by chemical interaation wit.h one or more other substances such as saltpetre. The insoluble residue which remains after evolution of gas is so small as to have no clouding effect. The substance may be soluble in water, or it may be of colloidal form. Examples given are metals, metalloids, and their compounds. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also describes the application of the invention to the clouding of glass. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted
