Jointing tubes to headers.-A detachable tube a for a motor-car &c. radiator has a fixed collar e at one end, fixed and sliding collars b, c with a spring d between them at the other end, joint sealing means h at the end collars, fins on the tube, and a restriction such as the small-bore hole m at one or both ends to effect a more even distribution of water throughout the tube stack. In modifications the restriction is formed by shaping-in the end of the tube itself, or by fitting a separate coned washer.
