296,140. Sheers, W. D., Tustin, A., and Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co., Ltd. June 1, 1927. Indicating arrangements. - A direct-current regenerative braking system for an electric motor is provided with an instrument 13 to indicate the ratio of the armature current and field current of the motor. The instrument consists of two stationary ccils 11, 12 mutually at right angles and respectively connected to the motorarmature 1 and the field 5, with a common magnetic armature attached to a pointer. The instrument mav be similar to that described in Specification 15095/02, [Class 37, Electricity, Measuring &c.]. The invention is applicable to systems comprising one or more motors.
