Boilers, superheating in steam spaces of.-In a marine boiler exhaust gases from an internalcombustion engine are passed through auxiliary heating tubes 7<a>, 7b arranged between the smoke tubes 3 and the boiler shell. The uppermost of the auxiliary tubes are arranged above the normal water level to superheat the steam in the steam space.
